Elevcon 2012 USA endorsed by elevator world magazine

Dear Colleague,

For many years we have been asked again and again to organize an Elevcon in USA. The kind assistance of few colleagues and the endorsement of Elevator World magazine made it happen for 2012. We have great pleasure in issuing the first announcement of Elevcon 2012, the 19th world congress of the International Association of Elevator Engineers in Miami Beach, Florida. Enclosed a  plan of an outstanding program of presentations by leading experts from all over the world within the vertical transportation industry and we hope you will contribute to the success of the congress,  by your participation. The congress and exhibition of industry innovations are planned for three days at one of the most prestigious sites in Miami, the Deauville Beach Resort Congress Center, which is located on the beach, minutes distance from the airport and local attractions.

ELEVCON 2012 & “Elevatori High Tech Award”

Miami Beach, USA, 22-24 May 2012

After the debut in Lucerne (Switzerland, 2-4 June 2010), this year the “Elevatori Hi-Tech Award” will be held in Miami Beach (USA, 22-24 May).

For this second occasion the Elevatori Award will be made at the 19th Elevcon, the annual congress focused on technologies of the vertical transport sector organised by IAEE. This is not a passing relationship with the International Association Of Elevator Engineers as Elevatori is the official gazette of this association.

The 19th edition of the world congress, involving conference and exhibition activities, will be held in a very special place, Miami, in the Deauville Beach Resort Congress Center.

This will certainly be a good season for the selection of the best presentation and stand. “Elevatori Hi-Tech Award” aims at awarding the best technical report based on the original communication and innovation topic.

The Panel will consist of the IAEE Steering Committee and an Elevatori delegate. Winners will be awarded with a plate and an award delivered by engineer Ami Lustig (ELS, Consulting Engineers Ltd, Israel), Elevcon 2012 Chairman and Programnme Manager
